Jesus Film Project Tour:
ATTENTION PASTORS--The
NMI Council is discussing the possibility of sponsoring a Jesus
Film Project Tour in either Fall 2013 or January or February
2014. Determining the number of pastors interested in
participation is key to deciding how to move forward.

Used Clothing:
The District NMI is
collecting used clothing to raise funds for a special missions
project. The goal is to collect 400 50 lb. bags of
clothing. Donations may be brought to the NMI Convention.
Ink Cartridges:
The District NMI is
collecting ink cartridges as an ongoing fund raiser for various
projects and events. Donations may be brought to the NMI
Convention.
Crisis Care Kits & School
Pal Paks:
This year's goal is 300
total boxes of Crisis Care Kits and School Pal Paks. The
necessary fee per box is $18 for Crisis Care Kit boxes ($12 for
warehouse, $6 for delivery) and $16 for School Pal Pak boxes
($10 for warehouse, $6 for delivery), made payable to Georgia
District NMI.
Note: In
response to the requests of local NMI Presidents, the procedure
for delivery of Crisis Care Kits and School Pal Paks has
changed.
Kits should be prepare and
packaged in the same manner as usual. HOWEVER, INSTEAD
OF MAILING THE BOXES, BRING THEM TO NMI CONVENTION.
District representatives will deliver the boxes to the ware
house in Maryland, unload them, and spend a couple of days
working at the warehouse before returning.
NMI Convention:

Church of the Nazarene, with missionaries Rev. Don
and Evie Gardner.
The Gardners currently
reside in Nairobi, Kenya, where Don serves as the Africa East
Field Strategy coordinator, overseeing the of the Church of the
Nazarene in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zanaibar. Evie is
currently the Work & Witness Coordinator for Kenya and Tanzania,
and Events Coordinator for the East Africa Field. They
previously resided in Malawi, where Don served as Malawi Mission
Coordinator and North Malawi District Superintendent.
